Additionally to O. mammosa transhrycana (O. spheggodes transhyrcana according to POWO), these entities are the most currently considered in the O. mammosa species complex, all considered synonyms under O. sphegodes taurica by POWO according to a very lumper and still controversial point of view.
Establishing the complex as a separate species is the best and simplest compromise here to allow us considering the main geographical / phenological / ethological diversity observed in the field by naturalists.
