City Nature Challenge 2020 – UK DataBlitz – May 1st 2020

During the City Nature Challenge, over 4400 UK residents took part, uploading a staggering 63,039 biological records in just four days.

The UK community is now coming together, online, on May 1st, to help identify and classify these records so they are as effective as possible for UK conservation and species records.
Please do join us – whatever your knowledge of wildlife is – it will be a great learning opportunity, socialising opportunity, and chance to do something new. We need everyone – from those who can help separate images between “birds” or “plants”, all the way down to those identifying species.

The sessions will be hosted by The Natural History Consortium, Natural History Museum, and the Field Studies Council, and are free to join on Zoom.

Join us on Zoom at 10am (mammals), 12pm (invertebrates), 2pm (birds), 4pm (plants), and then at 6pm for a social with a snack and drink in hand!

We hope to see you there!
