New paper revises genus Trillium
A recent paper recognizes four subgenera in genus Trillium:

This paper provides the basis for a much-needed revision of genus Trillium on iNaturalist.

Very interesting. Thank you for helping to publicize this. Who will take the lead on implementing the new (and corrected) subgenera in the iNaturalist taxonomic scheme?
@tsn Tom, thanks for your interest. I haven't flagged this yet. I thought perhaps I should first create some documentation (for curators). When that's done, I'll flag the genus and add a comment here.
