Interested in all insect groups, especially Aquatic Insects. Long term record of insects and other animals in Shanghai and its surrounding areas. Several newly recorded families, genera, and species in Shanghai have been discovered so far. My main research direction is freshwater macroinvertebrate Taxonomy\Diversity\Phylogeography and Phylogenetic Biogeography.
