I am a long-time participant in citizen science through the Zooniverse platform, and I interested in learning to identify the species which surround me - plants, in particular. Most of my experience making identifications on Zooniverse has been in the projects which use game cameras or historical records from museums.
Many of the animals I have identified have been recorded on camera in places like the midwest U.S. (Wisconsin and Chicago), Kenya, and Mozambique. I have spent some time classifying flowers, birds, and moths from historical records which have been shared by museums to researchers on the Zooniverse platform.
