I am a former molecular biologist and currently science writer. Italian. Like many molecular biologists, I am actually embarrassingly ignorant on natural observation. Now that I live in the beautiful countryside at the border between Germany and Belgium, iNaturalist is my chance to learn about the nature around me. I am mostly interested in insects and other small invertebrates.
