My observations are mostly from cams around my house (100-400 ft). I set up cameras after I watched my cat get killed by a mountain lion. I wanted to see how many lions were outside my house. My cats are no longer out after dark. I have had 4 face-to-face encounters with mountain lions in my yard. I feel glad and privileged to have wild animals outside my house.
