Ahoy fellow nature fans! I am a postdoc at Oregon State studying fungal secondary metabolism. I am interested in mycology, ecology, evolution, and fungal secondary metabolites, immersing myself in wild places and cultivating a visceral attachment thereto. You can find me haunting the woods of the ADKs and the PNW, stalking charismatic macrofungi. I am particularly keen on Hypocrealean entomopathogenic fungi and allies (AKA Cordyceps sensu lato). My pet project is, the "North American Cordyceps sensu lato" aimed at cataloging the Cordyceps occurring in N.A., and learning more about them.

I voucher most of my fungal collections in my personal herbarium, in case any of my finds are of interest to other researchers.
