I am an educator of 27 years. I have taught biology, environmental science, life science, Earth science, Physics and Chemistry, outdoor education, and physical education. I am an avid outdoorsman and a perpetual student of the natural world. My various scientific interests include ichthyology, herpetology, entomology, botany, and geology. My hobbies include fishing, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, being a native fish and plant aquarist, bioscaping, propagation of native plants, building ornamental ponds using native plants and biofiltration, and observing wildlife and the natural world in general.
