I am trained as a terrestrial ecologist, with a B.Sc. in biology and M.Sc. in ecology. My most specialized skill-set pertains to landscape ecology and the analysis of data within ArcGIS. My identification strengths are in birds, mammals, and rangeland plants. I have spent a considerable amount of time applying these skills within the Montane, Prairie, and Boreal Ecoregions of Canada. I am working to learn the flora and fauna of New York State, and branching out into insect identification.
