I am trying to inventory the underwater life at Kawaihae Harbor, Hawaii. There is plan to expand the harbor and that will include dredging the harbor. The harbor was built by dredging a large reef. 90% of the reef was destroyed to make the harbor and build a peninsula. There are threatened and endanger species in the harbor and some will be directly negatively impacted by the harbor expansion.
