Birder and all-around naturalist, photographer, and casual lister. I’ve always had an interest in wildlife and especially birds but the beginning of serious birding did not start until my discovery of eBird in mid 2020. Now I’m usually out on my bike (or skis!) looking for birds near home in Ottawa, or exploring a new location in Ontario. I’ve also recently expanded my knowledge of mammals, and I like to keep lists of reptiles and amphibians in addition to mammals and birds. Favourite places to bird are Algonquin Park and the Long Point area. Starting my first season as a Park Naturalist in Algonquin Park in summer 2024.
