I am currently a PhD student at The University of Oklahoma in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and work as a research assistant at the Oklahoma Biological Survey. I received my Masters in Wildlife Ecology from TxState in 2015. I interned with the USFWS at both Tishomingo NWR in southern Oklahoma as a Wildlife Monitoring Intern where I did many surveys across a wide range of taxa, then as a Biotech Intern at Buenos Aires NWR in southeastern Arizona and did various surveys there. Most recently, I was working as a research technician with Tucson Audubon Society doing point counts for the National Park Service all over the southern plains, and as a Migratory Bird Treaty Act Biologist working at Fort Hood Army Base doing grassland bird, butterfly and vegetation surveys. I have a wide array of interests in nature but mainly focus on birds, herps, and plants.
