I have always loved being in nature and observing wildlife and especially enjoy using photography as a means to identify the plants and animals I share a home with. I have been working in environmental conservation for over 20 years. As a social scientist my area of specialisation involves understanding the social factors that shape human interactions with the natural environment. This includes social and cultural values of threatened species and the marine environment.
