I am an amateur photographer, and for the past twenty years have concentrated on nighttime landscapes in California and the Southwest using only moonlight for illumination. These require exposures of up to eight hours, for which I use medium format film cameras.

Since the pandemic, I have discovered the joys of digital macro photography and am gaining a better appreciation of the tiny creatures that lurk in this hidden world. I find this a real challenge and keep striving to improve the quality of the images I share on iNat, constantly experimenting with a variety of Canon and Olympus cameras and macro lenses.

I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation.
