For over 25 years my passion has been finding, identifying and photographing butterflies, both here in my home province of Ontario and in the Neotropics. In recent years I have also been taking annual butterflying trips to south Texas. I keep various butterfly lists and enjoy pursuing rarities. I have also been a birder for over 40 years. At one time birding was my all-consuming passion but it has now taken the back burner to butterflying.
