After we retired, my late husband Donald Wood and I spent about five years doing the fieldwork for the three books "Flowers of the South Coast and Ranges of NSW". We then spent several years doing the field work for "Flowers of the ACT and Region". After that we collected and photographed the plants of Carnarvon Station Bush Heritage Reserve for a herbarium there, and did the same at the Australian Wildlife Conservancy property Scotia Sanctuary, where we collected and photographed fungi as well. This gave me the idea of creating an app to make identification easier. Thus the apps "Plants and Fungi of south western NSW", and "Plants of South Eastern NSW". I am at present preparing "Plants of South Central NSW".
