I am a marine biologist with some expertise in certain marine snail groups (I did my PhD at the University of Hawaii on phylogeography and speciation in vermetids/worm snails and a group of nudibranchs) as well as organisms from the Hawaiian intertidal and plankton. I mostly use iNaturalist for educational purposes to encourage students and teachers in Hawaii to get outside and explore.
