Born and raised on a family farm in SoDak. My Dad was a true conservationist and we managed part of our farm as a private game refuge to ensure better hunting all around. We planted trees every year. I grew up hunting, fishing and trapping. I got my BS in Park Mgt from South Dakota State and came to Texas in1990 to teach residential outdoor education for Houston ISD. I have a masters degree in Elem Ed from Stephen F Austin. Most of my observations are made with fifth grade students who are learning about Ecology at our campus on Lake Livingston.
