I am a staff scientist for the Appalachian Mountain Club with a background in biogeochemistry. I oversee AMC's long-term air, water, and climate monitoring in the White Mountains. AMC has two plant phenology monitoring projects: Mountain Watch and AT Seasons. Both projects involve volunteers and seasonal staff in tracking alpine and woodland plant development using the National Phenology Network protocols.
