Hi all! I'm an Upland South-based botanist, birder, and herper, though I dabble in basically everything. I have potentially excessive enthusiasm for Southern Illinois nature in most forms. My strongest knowledge is of Midwestern and Upland South flora, as well as Eastern North American birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I also attempt to ID many insects, crawdads, and fish. I'm occasionally daft so please double-check your IDs before agreeing with something I've said.
