I work as an ASCP certified Medical Laboratory Scientist, but botany has been my long time passion. Biodiversity and systematics are my biggest interests. I received my BS in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Michigan - Flint, and got a certificate in Medical Laboratory Science from Cox School of Medical Technology. I have previous experience working in horticulture, and in prairie research as an undergraduate. I am a proud member of the Missouri Native Plant Society and Missouri Prairie Foundation, and enjoy restoring a portion of my property back to native vegetation.
