I study what were formerly considered Hispinae, focusing on the tribes Chalepini, Sceloenoplini, and Cubispini (the last one is currently in Eumoplinae). Currently I am working on their taxonomy to better explain their evolutionary history. I love the field and try to get out as much as possible. I hate the winter because I can't be in the field.
