This juvenile Budgett's Frog was found in a temporary pond by the side of the road near the town of Filadelfia. Also in the same pond were adults and tadpoles in various stages of development.
Familia Ceratophrydae, se caracterizan por tener tubérculos en los ojos que dan apariencia de cachos, de ahí el "sapo cachón", como le dicen comúnmente.
