I have these insects living in my houseplants—'Pelargonium odoratissimum' and a ficus. They were found with the soil I bought at the local market. The insects are white and very small, about 1-2 millimeters in size. They have two long antennae on their heads. These insects reside in the soil; I do not observe them crawling on the leaves. The colony is huge; there are many of them. They are so small it's hard to focus camera on them. My guess, they are not whiteflies, though there are a few flies; but it's occasionally 1 or 2 flies, just a few of fhem. What kind of insects could they be?
