pbrastow's Identifications

Over the years I have been observing this tree. It was pointed out to me by a former Treasure Island museum employee named mary gentry. Mary is still a good friend of mine although she lives far away and I send her periodic photographs and updates on this tree. What made it amazing is that over the years we always saw a flock of night herons roosting in this tree and occasionally in eucalyptus trees along California ave. They would periodically burst out in a group dive into the water for fish and then go back to the tree. I have not seen them in a couple of years.
