The picture of this Carolina Wren was taken when it was overcast outside after it had rained earlier in the day. The temperature outside was slightly cold and there was cloud cover. The bird was present in a wooded area near some marsh, and at the time of the photo, it flew between different branches, different trees, and the ground in about a thirty-second window. After thirty seconds, the bird flew off. During this time it was extremely vocal and made a variety of complex calls.
