Spider approximately 8cm including legs with a big abdomen and banded legs. Weaves big webs about 40cm wide. Stationary. Each web has only one spider but there are many webs in close proximity. Web found at least 120cm above ground.
The small Manchineel bush is in the center and bright green. You can see that the other trees on either side have been grazed by the livestock upas high as they can reach, but the livestock know not to touch or eat the Manchineel -- arguably the most poisonous plant in the world.
