Baby Sora are incredibly difficult to photograph. I saw these little balls of fluff dart across my field of view many times, but only managed to capture a couple of images.

Bison were off in the distance when I drove into Soapstone Prairie Natural Area. By the time I left, they were near the road.
Driving into Soapstone Prairie Natural Area. Stopped to take photos of bison and this burrowing oil jumped up on top of the fencepost and began chirping!

This NSWO flew into our window after it was attacked by a cat. We let the owl sit in the snow for a little bit (and scared the cat off) because it was stunned. We then induced the owl to fly off to a nearby oak tree. It roosted there for about 10 minutes before flying into the safety of a nearby juniper tree. This is a friendly reminder to either not let your cat go outside or, at the very least, put it on a leash, please!
