Potentially a different species from the “warty” Genea, or possibly just fresher.

Outside of burned oak plot. Two truffles growing next to each other, several inches deep, found by truffle dog Rye. Chemical odor. Very solid, brittle when cut. Some parts of the peridium look wrinkly, otherwise smooth. Found under Oregon white oak.

Growing on decaying bark on live oak tree. Burned oak plot.
ID per Corndog. Stipe longitudinally striate, no ring observed. Small, not particularly fragile, in decaying material on hillside in burn.

Resprouting Acer macrophyllum, Rhododendron and Acer circinatum. The primary moss cover is the fire mos Funaria hygrometrica.

Gregarious on thick sedge debris over peat in wet meadow, under Carex and Betula glandulosa. Spores small, white, smooth, ellipsoid, inamyloid. Photos taken in dark conditions — see tackle box photo for mostly accurate color
Growing on water birch in riparian forest. Pileus dark grey brown, irregularly zonate-wrinkled to cracked. Hymenium cinammon-brown, consisting of tightly packed, firm, regular round pores.
