Spore deposit white. Odor farinaceous. Cap 6 - 16 mm across, hygrophanous, not viscid. Stipe 2.2 - 4.8 cm long x 1 - 4 mm thick, no bulb at stipe base, not viscid. Gills not marginate. Basidia four-spored, 25 x 8 - 9.8 µm. Growing on Pinus contorta needles. Spores oval with isolated warts up to 0.6 µm high.
Initially thought it might be a type of Mycena, but then I saw the warted spores! Very unusual!
