Very similar individual found in same location but with small hairs, unsure if same species.
Similar individual found in same location, except lacking the small hairs on the shell. Unsure if same species.
Shelling on East Cape. Grouped a few together, photographed them, and returned them to the water/beach. I am very inexperienced with shelling so I wasn't really looking out for anything rare. I am familiar with some species and photographed many of them multiple times to give a good snapshot of what species were around.
I also experimented with different techniques to be more efficient with my time documenting the shells. This included using different cameras (DSLR/phone and point-and-shoot). Date/time and location accurate.
Seen on a three day solo camping trip to East Cape in Everglades National Park (Cape Sable). I was particularly excited to go shelling on the beach (did not collect any shells, as that is prohibited in ENP) and also try some blacklighting out there.

Numerous empty shells found in the shadow of a dead log, downslope from it an in the mostly decomposed debris of the log.
