Perennial herb growing from a turnip-shaped tuberous roots, up to 15 cm tall. Leaves up to 10 x 2-3 cm. Flower in picture partially open but fully open flowers c. 2-3 cm across.
Growing in slightly degraded miombo woodland in Kalahari Sands.
As D burkeana and D madagascariensis are the only two Drosera listed for Nyika, I had thought this was D burkeana. Looking more closely at the shape of the leaves I am now not so sure.
