I assume this is rotundifolia but it has a very dense and upright habit.

One plant not grazed. The other plants grazed. In turf on the edge of exposed bedrock in a regenerating bush remnant.

Large main trunk lying on the ground rooted into a bank, with a smaller vertical trunk at one end.
vertical trunk 4-5m tall with leaves at the height of the low forest canopy
Pat Enright recorded miro in the original plant species list for this forest remnant in 1992.
